Hello.
Why did you delete wikipedia and wikidata tags? For w803981807, shouldn't "Midday Yard Lead" be part of a description or note tags, since as documented in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Names#Names_are_not_for_descriptions name tags shouldn't be used for descriptions.

The Midday Yard Lead should just have that alone as the name.
How come the Midday Yard lead was changed from service=yard to usage=main?

Also, could you please clarify what LIRR ETT SI GO 102 is, and where we can find it?

Employee Timetable special Instructions book. Shows Plaza to MID as main track for track 4 (midday yard lead) 15 MPH.
The wiki data was forcing the East Side Access name and locking out the track from being renamed to GCB.

What is the link to that book? How can other people see and verify it?
Even if iD doesn't let you edit name(but it does in the tags section below) it's not a good reason to delete perfectly valid tags.🫤 -

yes but the tags are grabbing data with the incorrect name, things change over there years from that project, its a printed book there's no link but it but i can gladly send you the pictures of the information from it. the other rail lines don't have that problem and the names can be edited and updated without trouble. just trying to updated the track to reflect the current information of the railroads.

Do you work for the LIRR? If so, it's important to make sure the information you're adding is copyright-compatible with OpenStreetMap. If the timetable has a copyright notice on it, please ask LIRR management or lawyers for written confirmation that it's okay to use it as a source for OpenStreetMap.
If you can get written confirmation, we'd love to see photos or scans of the relevant info. Copyright-compatible sources are hard to come by in railway mapping, so this would be immensely helpful for us all.

As for the Wikidata item, Q937694 represents the East Side Access construction project. Now that construction is over and it's in service, it needs a new Wikidata item for the Grand Central Branch anyway. So deleting it may have been a mistake, but it wasn't a big deal in this case.
